Egg Coding Systems
The Ovojet Series consists of industrial egg coding systems developed to apply date, batch, production and traceability information directly to eggs on grading, packing and conveyor lines.
BG Makina's Ovojet and Ovojet X egg coders are developed for fast and reliable coding of date, batch number, production data, best-before date, producer information and other variable content on eggs. The systems are designed for high uptime, easy operation and low maintenance, with integration into BG Makina egg handling lines.

Ovojet is a printing system developed for long, stable operation on egg grading and packing lines, with a European-made electronic platform and a rugged industrial build. It runs with no computer connection, operated through its own display and keypad; the operator can create and edit messages and adjust print settings directly on the printer.
Ovojet systems use HP 26A cartridge technology, achieving a maximum print height of approximately 4.8 mm and up to two lines of print in standard applications.
Ovojet systems are offered under different model codes depending on the BG Makina machine and application.

On egg grading and packing lines, the egg coder must operate in full synchronization with line speed and egg flow. Correct timing and print position are critical for consistent coding. Ovojet systems are configured according to machine speed, egg handling flow and print surface, providing an integrated egg coding and marking solution rather than a standalone printer.
